Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Labor, Dr. Khaled Al-Bakar, acting on behalf of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, the General Federation of Jordanian Trade Unions organized a central celebration on Thursday to mark International Workers’ Day. The event was held at the Royal Cultural Center and attended by prominent labor union leaders, representatives of employers, civil society institutions, and a number of companies and economic establishments.
During the ceremony, Waed Al-Lawanseh, Director of the Office of the Chairman of the Jordan Hotels Association, was honored in recognition of her outstanding efforts in serving the hotel and tourism sector, and for her active role in supporting institutional work within the Association.
This recognition was part of a broader series of honors that included a number of employees across various sectors, as well as leading national companies. The aim was to highlight stories of success and excellence across diverse fields of work.
The tribute reflects the high regard for Jordanian talent and reaffirms the Jordan Hotel Association’s commitment to supporting human resources, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation, and contributing to the development of the tourism sector and the enhancement of service quality throughout the Kingdom.
